Residences - an anthology

Residences are extremely challenging design exercises - not just functionally and spatially complex, these projects most directly shape quality of life. For us, residents are not discrete projects but rather, a continuous process of refinement and discovery of the value, the challenge and the fun of the design process. We believe that a successfully designed and implemented home creates a lot of value  and contributes meaningfully to betterment of society.

The residences we design are heavily focused on translation of the user’s perceptions of space, of his/her quirks and ideal quality of life. Each project is unique and poses interesting challenges - be it of translating individual preferences into space, negotiating tight dimensions and site constraints, exploring materials and so on.  

Through our projects, we have also tried to retain and refine an honest approach to materials and their expression, at the same time integrating passive technologies such as natural light and ventilation. Green spaces are extremely important, and there is nothing more satisfying than seeing nature overrun our built compositions. We are also extremely excited to see the final touches that each homeowner has put in his/her homes - they are instrumental in culminating and manifesting the sensory delight that is the feeling of a lived-in home.
