Geeta Palace was conceived as a community-oriented development by Robin Pal, a long-standing contributor to local social initiatives. Envisioned as a meaningful response to a specific community need, the project was developed on his privately owned plot and named in memory of his mother as a tribute to her deep involvement in community life.
Designed as a multifunctional social infrastructure, the building primarily operates as a wedding and events venue for the surrounding community. It is functionally equipped with large banquet halls and robust service infrastructure capable of accommodating significant gatherings, while the upper floors house a fully operational guest facility to support extended social functions.
Architecturally, the building draws visual and typological inspiration from the villa form, employing elements of grandeur and elegance appropriate for hosting important social occasions such as weddings and cultural events.
An expansive front lawn serves as a versatile outdoor gathering space, extending the building’s public interface and enhancing its role as a social destination. The subsequent acquisition of the adjoining rear plot has further expanded the scale and future possibilities of this open landscape.
Today, Geeta Palace has established itself as a prominent event venue in the region and stands as a fitting memorial to a legacy of community engagement and social contribution.
